Martin Sands OH (1967) visited the School today to be interviewed by Sixth Formers Tom S and Jay H about his experiences as a Senior Civil Servant at the Ministry of Defence during the Cold War.

Martin spoke about the perceptions of the Soviet threat, NATO’s policies of conventional and nuclear deterrence, as well as the events leading up to the end of the Cold War in December 1991.
