The 2024 Hampton Fours and Eights Head was a resounding success with over 600 crews from as far afield as Wales and Norwich competing along the 3km stretch of the river.
The Hampton Head has been running for over 50 years and is one of the most prestigious events of the spring rowing calendar. This year, over 2,000 junior oarsmen and women took to the water. The weather was fine and dry for the occasion, and good river conditions led to many exciting performances from the young rowers. Spectators lined the banks of the River Thames to show their support for the junior oarsmen and women
An impressive 23 Hampton crews took part and results were outstanding across the year groups with eight Golds, a Silver and a Bronze medal.
