We are pleased to announce that Hampton School is hosting a General Election hustings on the morning of Friday 28 June. The hustings will offer members of the School community, and the general public, an opportunity to hear from local candidates standing for election in the Twickenham constituency, Richmond Upon Thames.

Candidates will be asked to address a range of audience questions on local and national issues. Invitations have been extended to all six candidates standing as the prospective Members of Parliament for the Twickenham constituency: Tom Bruce (Labour Party); Joanthan Hulley (Conservative Party); Chantal Lyn Kerr-Sheppard (Green Party); Umair Malik (The Workers Party); Alexander Starling (Reform UK); Munira Wilson (Liberal Democrats)

Members of the public are warmly welcomed to attend the hustings but advance reservations via the online website form below are essential.

Candidates invited:

  • Tom Bruce: Labour Party (confirmed)
  • Jonathan Hulley – Conservative Party (confirmed)
  • Umair Malik – The Workers Party ( confirmed)
  • Alexander Starling – Reform UK (confirmed)
  • Chas Warlow – Green Party ( confirmed – Mr Warlow is the Green Party candidate for Richmond Park and will be representing the party on behalf of Chantal Kerr-Sheppard)
  • Munira Wilson – Liberal Democrats (confirmed)

NB: Each individual attendee is requested to make a separate booking.  Please note, if you have not reserved a place at the hustings via the online website form, we regret that you will not be permitted to attend the event.
