Hampton rowers delivered an excellent set of results at the 2026 Schools’ Head of the River Race, with all leading crews finishing inside the top four.

The 1st VIII made a bold early push, while the 2nd VIII secured third and the 3rd VIII performed strongly after limited time together.

The J16 squad enjoyed a standout day, with both the J16 1st and 2nd VIIIs finishing second. The J15 crews also impressed, earning podium places across all three categories and highlighting the depth of talent within the programme.

Supporters enjoyed far better weather than expected, helping create a lively atmosphere along the Tideway. Congratulations to all athletes and coaches on a superb day of racing.
