Old Hamptonians Cricket Club is a dynamic and ambitious club with deep roots in Hampton School
and a proud history within the Old Hamptonians community. We are committed to providing a
competitive, enjoyable, and inclusive environment where players can develop both on and off the
field.
While the club maintains a strong connection with Hampton School, we are equally proud of our
diverse membership, bringing together Old Hamptonians and cricketers from across Surrey and
beyond. Members value the sense of camaraderie, high standards, and shared club values that make
OHCC such a rewarding place to play.

We currently field four league sides on Saturdays competing across the Surrey Cricket Championship,
including a 1st XI recently promoted to Division 1, alongside a regular friendly 5th XI and occasional
6th XI. The club also competes in the Surrey T20, Surrey Slam, and Bertie Joel Trophy, regularly
facing some of the strongest opposition in Surrey and London. Our Under 21 XI plays in Tier 1 of the
Surrey Trust League, the highest standard of U21 cricket in the county, providing a vital pathway for
younger players progressing into senior cricket.

We are also proud to facilitate the Old Hamptonians XI in the Nicholson Cricketer Cup, a prestigious
national competition that brings together representative sides from many of the country’s leading
cricketing schools, offering Hampton alumni the opportunity to continue representing their school at a
high level.

Whether you’re a recent leaver, a returning Old Hamptonian, or simply a keen cricketer looking for a
welcoming and vibrant club, we’d love to hear from you.

History

Founded in 1557, Hampton School has a strong and illustrious sporting history, and cricket is a major part of school sports. Toby Roland-Jones and Zafar Ansari representing England in Test Match Cricket and recent leavers Blake Cullen and Naavya Sharma are evidence of the wealth of talent that is coming through the school.

Archives show that the Old Hamptonians Association Cricket Club was founded in November 1926, making the upcoming 2026 season our centenary year where our history will be honoured with several events. Those school alumni who now represent the OHACC follow in the footsteps of those who created the opportunity for everyone to play for the club. We are deeply proud of our roots and are passionate about writing our own chapter in the club’s legacy moving forwards.

Culture

We are focused on building a strong core of talented cricketers, proud to represent the Club and uphold our core values. We are fortunate to have a wide playing base which is stacked with experience and youthful energy, giving our newest recruits the perfect opportunity to learn and adapt their game. Our location on the border of Surrey and Middlesex makes us accessible to lots of people.

If you’re looking to join a club with aspirations to improve, whilst nurturing homegrown talent and having fun, then why not get in touch and see what we can offer you on and off the field?
